How to Join Ascend Federal Credit Union
Ascend Federal Credit Union membership eligibility includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Relationship with immediate family or household members: If someone in your immediate family is an Ascend member, you can also join. Your spouse, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, and grandchildren, including the same step and adoptive relationships, are considered immediate family members. Also, if anyone who lives in your household and can demonstrate a degree of permanency is a member of Ascend, you’re eligible to join.
Employment/Affiliation: If your employer or organization is one of our partners, you’re eligible to join. When you open an account, you’ll see a complete list of business and organization partners.
Underserved Areas: If you live, work, worship, or attend school in an area deemed by the U.S. government to be financially underserved, you’re eligible to join. All of Franklin County and parts of Rutherford, Davidson, Dickson, Maury, Marshall, Warren, White, Van Buren, and Putnam counties are considered underserved.
The Nature Conservancy, Tennessee Chapter (TNC): All members of The Nature Conservancy are eligible to join Ascend. You can become a member of The Nature Conservancy (TNC) by making a one-time contribution of at least $25. If you want to join TNC, you can do so when you open an account.
